Acceptable Use Policy

Here at ConstructConnect, our goal is to empower you and your team to optimize your pre-construction activities. To achieve this, we need to ensure our services and our websites (collectively hereinafter referred to as “Services”) operate seamlessly, efficiently, and without interference. We count on you, our users, to use our Services responsibly.

This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of our Services. Under this Policy, we maintain the right to suspend use or terminate access to the Services or delete content uploaded by you to the Services if that use or content doesn't align with the essence of this Policy, even if it doesn't explicitly breach any stipulated policy. In simpler terms, if an action isn't specified here but is similar in intent or effect to a stated violation, we might still act upon it.

We may modify this Policy by posting a revised version on the ConstructConnect.com website. By using or accessing the Services, you agree to the latest version of this policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Services.

If you send, disclose, upload, post, or otherwise provide any content to ConstructConnect, you are acknowledging and agreeing you are providing such content to ConstructConnect on a non-confidential basis, and ConstructConnect will have no obligation to keep such content secret, to refrain from using such content in accordance with this Agreement, or to compensate you for the receipt or use of such content.

As a condition of your use of the Services, you may not, and may not enable or encourage others, to do any of the following:

Disruption

• Interfering with the use or enjoyment of Services by others or otherwise threatens the integrity of the Services.
• Reverse-engineering, decoding, decompiling, disassembling, copying, or otherwise attempting to derive source code or other trade secrets about any of the Services or technologies.
• Jeopardizing the integrity of our Services (including by probing, scanning, crawling, or testing any system hosting our Services or by using the services to create, use, or send viruses, malware or other harmful computer code) by:
• Deploying automated systems like “robots,” “spiders,” or “offline readers” to send requests to our servers beyond human capability using a regular browser.
• Misusing storage, like hosting inappropriate Content, deviating from the Services' primary intention.
• Directing network traffic at ConstructConnect which attempts to deny service to other customers or disrupt our ability to deliver services.
• Imposing excessive demands on our infrastructure by creating an unreasonable load on resources such as CPUs, memory, disk space, bandwidth, etc.
• Engaging and/or aiding in the hacking of our Services, bypassing any security or authentication features, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Services or associated systems.
• Accessing or using Services or documentation for the purpose of developing or operating services intended to be offered to third parties in competition with the Services or allowing access by a direct competitor of ConstructConnect without express written consent by ConstructConnect.

Wrongful activities

• Engaging in fraud, misrepresenting your identity, engaging in misleading communications (e.g., “spoofing,” “phishing,” manipulating headers), impersonating others, or falsely indicating association with ConstructConnect or another entity.
• Accessing Services while employed by or associated with a direct competitor to ConstructConnect without prior written authorization or for the purpose of developing or operating products or services intended to be offered in competition with the Services.
• Using the Services or allowing access to the Services in a manner that circumvents a contractual usage restriction.
• Licensing, sub-licensing, selling, re-selling, renting, leasing, transferring, distributing, timesharing, or otherwise making any portion of the Services for access by third parties unless expressly authorized by ConstructConnect in writing.
• Using the Services (including, without limitation, any content and materials accessible via the Services) in a way that violates or infringes upon, or otherwise misappropriates, the rights of a third party, including those pertaining to contract, intellectual property, privacy or publicity.
• Employing our Services to violate the law or threaten, stalk, harass, libel, or otherwise violate the rights of others or engage in the unauthorized sharing or collection of personal details of others.
• Scraping or misuse of any part of our Services with the intent to repackage or resell its content or for use in machine learning or training artificial intelligence systems without the express written consent by ConstructConnect.
• Using ConstructConnect or our partners' names or trademarks.
• Not promptly reporting known security breaches or unauthorized access to ConstructConnect.
• Generating or dispatching unsolicited communications, advertisements, phishing emails, or spam through our Services.
• Discrediting ConstructConnect or our partners, vendors, or associates.

Inappropriate Content

• Publishing or sharing content that:
• You are not authorized to share or infringe upon ConstructConnect or a third party’s intellectual property or rights.
• Is deceptive, illicit, obscene, slanderous, threatening, harmful, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate.
• Promotes illegal conduct or is overly provocative.
• Discriminates based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or medical condition.
• Aims to provoke or potentially harm ConstructConnect or third parties.

If a user violates any element of this Acceptable Use Policy, ConstructConnect reserves the right, among other remedies, to permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to our Services without notice. The decision rests solely at ConstructConnect's discretion.
