ConstructConnect Volunteers Join Forces With AIA Detroit at Life Remodeled 2021 Six Day Project
Volunteers from ConstructConnect and the American Institute of Architects - Detroit teamed up to beautify Detroit neighborhoods at the Life Remodeled 2021 Six Day Project.
Teams of volunteers cleared brush, pruned and cut trees, removed overgrown foliage, and carted off debris in the annual project. Life Remodeled dedicates six consecutive days annually to revitalizing Detroit neighborhoods in the four-square-mile area surrounding their non-profit hub. The organization also repurposes and renews former school buildings into opportunity centers for education, jobs, and human services and provides local homeowners with need-based home repairs.
”ConstructConnect was so honored that we could sponsor Detroit AIA’s involvement in Life Remodeled for the second year in a row and work beside its members,” said Derek Guffey, Vice President of Product Marketing at ConstructConnect.
ConstructConnect partners with local AIA chapters to enhance and support their communities. “The continued success of this program and the scale at which it is done are having a long-term positive effect on Detroit neighborhoods near downtown,” Guffey added.
Time, talent, and treasure are the core tenets of ConstructConnect’s community outreach efforts. We believe that each person is suited differently to give differently. That’s why we recognize a variety of options, empowering the organization, both on a corporate level and as individual team members, to give “the three” away.
