Jennifer Johnson, the Chief Product Officer at ConstructConnect, has had a busy fall. In September and October, she spoke at several events and conferences.
AIA Women’s Leadership Summit (October 8 – 10)
Johnson was a key speaker at the American Institute of Architects’ 2024 Women’s Leadership Summit. The event was held in Chicago. She was a part of a talk called “What it Takes to Lead in Work & Life." It featured notable women in architecture. Johnson was joined by AIA President Evelyn Lee, Danielle J. Tillman from bKL Architecture, and RaMona Westbrook of Brook Architecture.
ASPE Summit 2024 (September 14)
Johnson went to Cincinnati in September for the annual Summit of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE).
At the event, Johnson talked about a topic called “Advancements in AI-assisted Takeoff.”
In her talk, Johnson explained how AI-assisted takeoff benefits both new and experienced estimators. She also showed how tools like ConstructConnect’s On-Screen Takeoff®, with Takeoff Boost™, can help estimators get their work done faster.
Before the event, Johnson said, “I think it’s most important for the estimating community to understand that AI-assisted software solutions will not be replacing jobs. Instead, we believe AI can offer automation that frees estimating professionals from repetitive tasks to focus on more complicated challenges.”
AWCI Webinar (October 24)
Johnson finished October by giving a talk called “Advancements in AI-Assisted Estimating: A Real-World User Experience” to people in the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry (AWCI).
The talk was shown live online to AWCI members in the U.S. and Canada. Johnson spoke with Zach Batson, who works as an Estimator for Zook Interiors LLC. Batson is an On-Screen Takeoff and Takeoff Boost customer. Batson talked about how Takeoff Boost helps make Zook's business run better.
