World of Concrete 2025 was nothing short of incredible. This annual event is more than just a trade show—it’s a celebration of the concrete and masonry industries and the people who drive them forward. For ConstructConnect, it’s a chance to connect with people who share our passion for construction. Walking through the halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, it was clear to us that this industry is built on grit, skill, and innovation. Every conversation, product demo, and interaction highlighted the dedication of the people who laid the literal foundation for the world around us.

How will the California wildfires affect the construction industry in 2025? In January of this year, wildfires burned over 37,000 acres in Los Angeles, California, destroying over 16,000 buildings. Now, many people are left needing to rebuild their homes and businesses.

Every March, Women in Construction Week highlights women making a difference in this male-dominated field. According to the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), women now make up 14% of the construction workforce, up from 10.9% just five years ago. The industry is changing for the better. In addition to seeing more women join the field, technology like artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the game. It’s an exciting time to be part of construction!

ConstructConnect is honored to announce they have been recognized in the top 40 on Comparably’s Best Companies for Women in 2022. This award is the result of a dedicated effort across the organization to create an inclusive and equitable culture with women at the forefront.

For the second time in 2023, ConstructConnect is being named one of Comparably’s Best Places to Work. This time, ConstructConnect is honored to be among the winners of the awards for “Best Leadership Teams” and “Best CEOs for Women.”

NextGen is a group of dedicated individuals and professionals from ConstructConnect that are committed to inspiring the next generation of youth to consider and join the construction workforce. With a nationwide labor shortage and a frightening gap between the demand for workers and the number of qualified people searching for construction jobs, action must be taken to encourage students to enter this lucrative and diverse workforce.

From March 14 - 18, thousands of eager construction industry members, leaders, and innovators will flock to Las Vegas for the highly anticipated CONEXPO 2023. To say we look forward to exhibiting again at the largest construction show in North America would be an understatement.
